Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Matrix Consultant to provide implementation, configuration, and support for Matrix Billing Software. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with billing systems, process automation, and ensuring seamless integration with client systems. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, client interaction, and the ability to deliver customized solutions to meet specific business needs.
The consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and finance departments, to configure and optimize billing processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of billing systems.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Implementation and Configuration:
- Analyze client requirements to configure the Matrix Billing Software.
- Manage end-to-end software implementation, including setup, testing, and deployment.
- Provide customized solutions to meet the client’s billing and invoicing needs.
System Integration:
- Integrate Matrix Billing Software with external systems, such as CRMs, ERPs, or financial platforms.
- Ensure seamless data flow between the billing system and other IT infrastructure.
Billing Operations Support:
- Monitor the accuracy of billing processes and identify any discrepancies.
- Perform data validation and resolve billing-related issues in a timely manner.
- Provide solutions for recurring billing, subscription management, and usage-based billing.
Client Consultation:
- Engage with clients to understand their business workflows, challenges, and requirements.
- Offer expert recommendations to optimize billing operations and improve efficiency.
Customization and Enhancement:
- Develop and deliver tailored billing solutions based on client specifications.
- Enhance software configurations to address new business rules or pricing models.
- Automate manual billing processes to reduce errors and save time.
Testing and Troubleshooting:
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure smooth functioning post-deployment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software errors, bugs, and technical challenges.
- Document test results and recommend improvements.
Training and Documentation:
- Train end-users and client teams on the effective use of the Matrix Billing Software.
- Create comprehensive user manuals, process documentation, and training guides.
Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor system performance to ensure efficient and error-free billing.
- Conduct regular audits of billing processes and suggest enhancements.
Collaboration:
- Work with internal and external teams (e.g., finance, development, and QA) to align billing operations with business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate progress, challenges, and solutions.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure the billing system complies with industry standards and legal requirements.
- Generate accurate billing reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for clients and management.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience implementing and managing billing software systems (e.g., Matrix Billing Software).
- Strong understanding of billing processes, revenue recognition, and subscription models.
- Expertise in SQL, data validation, and financial data reconciliation.
- Experience with system integration tools and APIs.
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM systems, and other financial platforms.
- Proficient in problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting software issues.
- Excellent communication, client-facing, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and data security standards for billing systems.
